We are pleased to announce that Hayley Dorrington is joining us as Chief Operating Officer for Care4Quality. She has been working as a consultant with C4Q for over a year and she is delighted to be taking on this new role with the company.

Her background is in nursing, management and education, having qualified in 1999 as a RGN and then moving from community nursing into care homes in 2007. Over the past 12 years she has worked as a home manager and then clinical lead for a group of homes. She also worked with Surrey and Plymouth Uni as a lecturer, along with working with CQC as a Specialist Advisor. Hayley really enjoyed the work she has done with C4Q and the variety it brings to the working week!  She is looking forward to meeting and speaking to clients over the next few weeks.

Hayley comments “I am really keen to ensure we share all the fantastic work that is happening and would love to hear from you with your ideas and thoughts on what good practice you see, how you approach your visits and any hints or tips you have. I will be sharing these through our new C4Q consultants newsletter, which has lots of information regarding CQC guidance and updates, along with trends that we have noted.  I am aiming to send this out on a monthly basis and next month will commence our ‘hints and tips’ section of the newsletter, with recommendations and guidance for visits. I will also be spending some time out in homes and then the rest of the time i’ll be in the office.
