We offer remote and virtual care planning audits.

Care plan audits play a pivotal role in ensuring services have up-to-date and robust care plans that cover the level of detail required to provide person-centred care and meet regulation 9: Person-Centred Care.

The scrutiny provided by a care plan audit ensures that care plans are not only comprehensive but also offer clear and accessible guidance for staff to follow ensuring safe, effective and responsive care.

Upon scheduling, we will liaise with you to ensure we have the necessary details for the remote audit, which may involve requesting secure access to any relevant information stored electronically e.g., care planning or storage systems. The subsequent care plan audit report will be sent to you within 7 working days of the scheduled audit date.

This service will take place over a full day (or more if agreed), during which we will review approximately 10 – 15 care plans . The quantity of care plans audited depends upon their initial quality. Where care plans lack detail, it will require a lengthier amount of time to review and document what is needed compared to a care plan that is already comprehensive and person-centred. We can provide initial feedback once the audit begins.
