After the success of the first webinar, we are delighted to be hosting the second in our series designed to support healthcare providers in understanding what to expect from the Care Quality Commission’s regulatory requirements.
This webinar will focus on what the CQC expect in the relationships between providers and their patients, with all healthcare providers welcome to join.
The webinars will take place at 15:30pm on Tuesday 18th January and 10:30am on Thursday 20th January.
What will the webinar cover?
This month’s webinar covers a range of topics meaning it’s inclusive for all providers.
- Supporting people to develop and maintain relationships to avoid social isolation.
- How do systems, processes and practices safeguard people from abuse?
- How are people supported at the end of life to have a comfortable, dignified and pain free death?
- Ensuring consent to care and treatment.
- Sexual safety in a healthcare setting
These topics all relate to the CQC’s Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE’s), so being well informed on these areas is important.
Who is running the event and how can I ask any questions?
This month’s webinar is presented by Alistair Mitchell and Joe Staines, both members of our Inspections Team as well as Emily Guest from our Policies & Procedures Team.
They will be holding a Q&A at the end of their presentation, where you can submit any questions you have. You can also submit any questions in advance of this when you sign up using our registration form.
Relationships between patients and providers are at the heart of social care services, and this webinar will help you aim towards that ultimate target of an outstanding CQC rating.
The event is on Microsoft Teams and is free for anyone.
