There is a large variation in the range of minor surgeries that can be offered at practice/clinic level, minor surgery can be categorised into:

• Cutting procedures – for example excision followed by suturing.
• Cryotherapy/Electrosurgery – for superficial skin lesions.
• Joint and soft tissue injections.
